We're back in the Myth and Science universe today with a story set about four months after the events of "Strange Neighbors."
Those who have read the series will recognize the characters and understand their backstories; however, the story can be understood perfectly well without having read any of the others.

We're back in the Myth and Science Universe this week with a story set right around the same time as "Return to the Wood."
Reading might be a bit more fun if you have read at least up until that point, but it is not necessary to understand the story. Today's story takes us back to the Myth & Science Universe about a half hour after the events of "Running from Nightmares." However, you do not have to have read any of the other stories in the series to understand this one.
Today's story is set in the Myth and Science universe the morning after "Change in Perspective." Having read the rest of the series is helpful but not necessary to understand the story as it is.
And I know I changed the first line just a bit, but the triple negative was melting my brain. A double is bad enough. Today's story is another from the Myth and Science universe featuring Jenn and our resident adolescent refugee from space, Lily. It is set a few months after the events discussed in, "I have the Weirdest Friends," but you don't need to know anything aside from what has been mentioned in this paragraph to understand the story.
Born of the Wall is set less than an hour after the events of "Conflict of Instinct" in the Myth & Science universe. You don't have to have read any of the other stories in the series for this one to make sense.
Today's story takes us back to the Myth and Science Universe around about eight hundred years before the events of "The Accord is Struck," fae realm time. But, as always, you don't have to have read the other stories in the series to understand this one.
![]() It's time for something fun, so I've decided to do The Naughty List tag, created by Jenna Moreci. I had a really difficult time trying to decide between doing this tag for The Icarus Project and the Myth and Science universe, since I am working on a short story anthology for that one. So I decided to do them both! I did a version for The Icarus Project last week, so make sure to go check that one out if you missed it. Here's the one for the Myth and Science universe today. Today's story is set back in the Myth and Science universe most of an hour after the events of "The More Things Change." Having read the other flash fictions can be helpful, but it's not needed to understand and enjoy the story.
You can also find the audio version, as well as a playlist with all the stories in the universe so far in chronological order, on the Eng Family Vlogs channel over on YouTube. We're back in the Myth and Science Universe today a century or so before the events of "Don't Go Near the Well." This flash fiction is set as the earliest in the series, so you absolutely don't have to have read anything in it to understand and enjoy today's installment.
