Our reality is but one among billions, each with its own physical laws, technology, and evolutionary history. Earth has been visited by species capable of crossing the veil between realities for eons. They’ve left a mark on our stories from the beginning as they come and go, occasionally nudging our development to suit themselves and taking what resources they want, and we have always been powerless to stop them.
