Right of Succession
The UNE Galaxia, a colony ship from the United Nations of Earth, suffered a rougher-than-planned landing that overshot the thin, temperate continent they’d picked for their home. Their crash site lay close to a colony of the Yekar, a sentient, dragon-like race who took them in before the devastating storms of Yekara’s short autumn set in. The two species grew to understand one another over the next years, soon banding together to build a new society.
These are the stories of their descendants seven centuries later. Old warnings are discarded as foolish superstition, and new prejudices arise from fear, greed, and humanity’s eternal lust for power.
